History

Certified to teach elementary education (nursery - 8th grade) since 1973, special education (K-12th grade) since 1991, and Orton-Gillingham reading since 1999, our lead educator Sharon received her B.A. from Queens College majoring in Elementary Education.  Special Education (Teacher of the Handicapped) certification from Rutgers University. Title 1 Orton-Gillingham teacher with IMSLEC certification, has a Masters Degree in Learning Disabilities,  and Dyslexia certification from Fairleigh Dickenson University.

"Being able to teach children, with reading difficulties, to read at and above grade level is a challenge I love.  Every child deserves the right to achieve these goals.  I especially love watching each child's self-esteem  rise as they become successful readers."

Brunswick Reading opened its doors in 2000. Since then, they've facilitated the success of students across Middlesex County. 

We only offer one-on-one instruction with individualized lesson plans per child, focusing on each child's needs.
